Chinook Equipment is in an exciting growth stage and looking for a Territory Manager with experience in selling construction equipment to join our team. The successful candidate will work and report remotely out of the Calgary area and will be responsible for the sales and rentals of new and used equipment, more specifically with a focus on Hyundai Construction Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing their customer base, and be responsible in playing a dynamic and important role in the continued success of our organization. Further responsibilities are:

• Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and builds positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business
• Execute on selling new and used products, as well as services by developing new prospects and accounts
• Prepare customer quotes, sales orders, and conduct sales presentations/demonstrations as required
• Successfully manage customer relationships and accounts to achieve sales goals
• Provide after-sale support and exceptional customer service
• Cultivate creative solutions for leasing, financing and rental purchase options

• You have a good understanding and connection within Calgary and the surrounding area
• You possess strong sales acumen – your experience has allowed you to hold a proven track record of developing business and closing sales.
• You are DRIVEN but also understand the industry requires you to be resilient – you are motivated by exceeding targets and seeing results and have a strong sense of personal achievement
• Your superior customer experience skills are highly sought after – building quick rapport and turning connections into long-term sustainable relationships is a true talent of yours. Customers trust and look for YOU
• Communication is used as a strong tool – you have the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
• You have strong organizational and time management skills – utilizing all tools such as the CRM, calendar and more are your go-to in staying on top of everything
