Davis Chevrolet is seeking our next great team member to join our Service Department as an INTERNAL SERVICE ADVISOR

The Internal Service Advisor acts as the main point of contact and liaison between the Sales and Service Department, ensuring a smooth transition and turn-around of PDI and Recon work requested. Our ideal candidate has at least 2 years or more of experience as an Internal Advisor or Service Advisor within a dealership setting, or experience in dealing with internal communications and processes within a dealership setting.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all work orders for Recon / vehicles on trade coming in that need repair 
  • Prepare all work orders for PDIs and accurately stock them in to inventory
  • Prepare work for customer cleans and add-ons for customer purchase and delivery (such as 3M film, detailing, tint, etc.)
  • Coordinate any subletting with external services for additional work (windshield replacement, etc.)
  • Work and communicate closely with the Sales and Service Department to ensure timely turn-around and consistent process
Experience and Skillset:

  • At least 2+ years of experience as an Internal Service Advisor or Service Advisor within the auto industry, working closely with internal communications
  • Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong written communication skills to accurately process work orders in a clear manner
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to explain systems and repairs is considered an asset
  • The capability of working independently, managing your time and workflow and have the ability to work congenially with other team members
  • Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands
  • Valid Driver’s License
