Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)

CHINOOK EQUIPMENT in NISKU is HIRING JOURNEYMAN TECHNICIANS!

Journeyman Technicians can expect to earn upwards of $46 per hour, depending on experience. Our branch offers a brand-new, expansive shop that comes equipped with two 15-ton bridge cranes so that you can work swiftly and efficiently.

Who we’re looking for:

• Journeyman Technician OR a strong 4th year Apprentice
• Experience in Field Service is an asset, with broad knowledge of on and off-road equipment
• Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills
• A/C experience is considered a strong asset
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, and must be able to lift at least 50lbs or more
• Ability to pass a criminal record check and pre-employment drug screening
• Valid Driver’s License
